Do I need a fishing licence?

Yes. Anyone 18 or older needs an Ontario fishing licence.

Can I bring my own boat?

Yes. There's room for boat trailers in the driveway and space at the dock.

Cast from the dock in the morning, take the boat out after lunch, and fry up the catch by the fire. Forest Harbour sits right on the water in Waubaushene, with easy boat access to some of Georgian Bay's best fishing.

The fishing

Pike, bass, perch and sunfish are caught right off the dock, with walleye in the wider bay. Head north by boat to Port Severn and the Trent-Severn Waterway at Lock 45, or out into Severn Sound. In winter, the bay is popular for ice fishing.

Boats welcome

Rent our aluminum fishing boat for $150 a day, never more than $500 a week, or bring your own. There's room in the driveway for up to four vehicles plus boat trailers.

Fall waterfowl

In the fall, Matchedash Bay is close by boat for waterfowl hunting. Licences are your responsibility.
