In Waubaushene, on Forest Harbour at the southeast corner of Georgian Bay, just off Highway 400.

Is the waterfront private?

Yes. The dock and the small sand beach beside it are for our guests only. Two public beaches are also a short walk away.

Forest Harbour Lake House sits on 35 feet of private Georgian Bay shoreline in Waubaushene, at the south end of the bay. The lot runs 300 feet from the house down through the trees to the dock, the sand beach and the water.

Life on the water

Swim from the dock or the beach, paddle the sheltered harbour by kayak or paddleboard, and fish for pike, bass and perch right off the dock. Rent our aluminum fishing boat by the day or week and head north toward Port Severn and Lock 45, or out into Severn Sound and the edge of the 30,000 Islands.

The house

Three bedrooms and three bathrooms sleep seven guests. There's a full kitchen, a stone fireplace, a deck over the lawn, a private hot tub open all year, and a stone fire pit ringed by Muskoka chairs. Dogs are welcome.

Around the bay

Georgian Bay Islands National Park, Awenda Provincial Park, the Midland harbour cruises, Discovery Harbour and Wye Marsh are all within about 40 minutes. In winter, Mount St. Louis Moonstone is 10 minutes away for skiing, and the bay freezes for ice fishing.
